delta and bay organises a trip to Shenzhen for founders, investors and operators. This page explains what we collect when you apply, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

Only what you type into the application form: your name, email, company, where you're based, a profile link, your role, the area you work in, what you're building, what you want from the trip, whether you can make the dates and, if you tell us, how you heard about us. We also record when you applied.

This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking.

Why we use it

• To review your application and decide who joins the trip.
• To contact you about your application, the interview call and booking.
• To plan visits and supplier meetings around what you're building.

We don't sell your information or use it for advertising. We won't share what you're building with host companies or suppliers without asking you first.

Where it's kept

Applications are stored in a database run by Supabase, hosted in the United States. Only the delta and bay team can read them. The site itself is hosted by Vercel, and the fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so those services see your IP address when you visit, as with any website.

How long we keep it

We keep applications while we plan and run the trip, and delete them within 12 months after it ends. If you'd like to hear about future trips, we'll ask before keeping your details longer.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete what we hold about you at any time. Email info@deltaandbay.com and we'll reply within 2 business days.
